#ReRead2015 & 2015 Challenges Recap
I can't believe 2015 is coming to a close! It seems like only yesterday that I was working on my sign-up post for the challenges that I wanted to participate in - deciding what goals seemed reasonable and what books I was hoping to read to meet those goals. And now, the year is over. All of my goals have been met based on the goals I set for myself! I've been keeping track of my progress along the way, but I still wanted to share a final recap. Rather than list all of the books I read for each challenge, which would make this post way too long, I'm highlighting my goal, what I actually accomplished and the books that were my favorite for each.
The Re-Read Challenge
Hosted By: Belle of the Literati & Me / Details & Sign Up
To the participants in The Re-Read Challenge - THANK YOU! It was such a pleasure co-hosting this challenge with Kelly, and I'm so thankful that she approached me with the idea. I'd been wanting to make re-reading more of a priority for quite a while, and this was the push I needed. It made 2015 a better reading year than I could even have imagined! I loved revisiting so many of my favorites and finding more to love about them.
Since Kelly is currently traveling, I'll be drawing the giveaway winners in the next few days and announcing them on Twitter! And if you enjoyed participating this year, I hope you'll consider joining the challenge again. I won't be co-hosting (because I'm being lazy with a baby on the way!), but I'll definitely be participating. I finished this year's challenge with two final re-reads in December - Cinder and Scarlet by Marissa Meyer.

Have you read any of my favorites?
Did you meet your challenge goals for 2015?
What a great way to wrap up your challenges -- just the highlights! I listed my books in my wrap up, but my lists were waaaaay shorter than yours would have been :) Happy New Year Hannah!
ReplyDeleteI didn't meet many of my 2015 goals, haha. But I did particpate in your Re-read Challenge, where I re-read 10 books - not as many as I planned, but more than in 2014 so I'm happy with that!
ReplyDeleteI still really want to reread The Hunger Games, I didn't love it the first time around and I think I'd appreciate it so much more now. Excellent fantasy picks, I really must read Princess of Thorns! So glad you did well on all your goals! Happy 2016 :)
ReplyDeleteHannah, I'm just going to go ahead and get this out of the way - you are SO AMAZING. The fact that with all that you had going on this year, you still manage to complete all of your goals and run this amazing blog annndddd nurture that upcoming addition to your family? Just amazing. <3
ReplyDeleteNow on to other things ... I'm so happy that you loved the Scarlet trilogy, it's one of my absolute favorites! I read Lion Heart earlier this year and it's made allll my lists for my favorite Series Ender. (But in my heart of hearts I refuse to accept it's over, haha) Things I really need to read: The Burning Sky trilogy. Queen of Shadows. Under A Painted Sky. The Wrath and the Dawn.
Last, but certainly not least, even though I did horribly at it (6/12) I am so grateful to you and Kelly for creating the #ReRead challenge! It was so much fun to revisit some of my favorites, and I want to read even more next year.
Happy New Year and yayyy for this obnoxiously long comment <3
So proud of you for meeting your Flights of Fantasy reading goal (and your other reading challenge goals)! I think you ROCK for going above and beyond on just about all of them ;) Also, I'm so glad you guys came up with the ReRead Challenge! It definitely motivated me to reread a lot more in 2015, and I look forward to participating again in 2016 :)
