All About Audrey: The Fashion
When you're celebrating Audrey Hepburn, you simply must talk about her style. Even today, she's a major fashion icon. She focused on simple, classic pieces that look as good today as they did back then. The only problem with creating a look inspired by her? There are so many amazing options to choose from!
Recreated From: Love in the Afternoon
I thought about choosing a look from one of her more well-known movies, but I just couldn't stop looking at this photo from Love in the Afternoon. While it's meant for the screen, it's something I think you'd be just as likely to see her wear in her personal time. Every single piece is one I'd want to have in my closet: skinny pants, a classic dress shirt, a cardigan and simple ballet flats. I'd happily buy - and wear - this entire outfit!

Since I chose a movie look featuring Audrey's iconic skinny capris, I felt like I had to do something a little different for my second outfit! As I thought about creating an outfit inspired by her classic style, I immediately envisioned a midi skirt. Thankfully, it's a look that's never really gone out of style - though it has made a resurgence recently. While her look is a little more casual, I chose to create a slightly dressier version.

Seriously, can I please just have all of these clothing + accessory choices added to my wardrobe now? I love Audrey Hepburn's style, both in her films and in real life. I definitely want to make more of an effort than ever to emulate it ;)
